Wang Jianzu (J. Kan) was born in Zhenjiang, Jiangsu Province, and was admitted to the Art Department of Northwest Normal University in 1989. In 1989, the work (Morning) was selected for the 40th National Day Art Exhibition; Study and art inspection in Dunhuang in 1991. In 1992, his works (landscape series) were selected as the quintessence of China's paintings and calligraphy works. He came to Beijing in 1995 to engage in artistic creation. In 1997, he participated in the joint exhibition of Rong Baozhai West Gallery.
From 1998 to 2002, more than 30 works were collected by individuals and institutions in China, Hong Kong, the United States, South Korea and Germany. In 2003, Wang participated in Red Wall Gallery Joint Exhibition; 2004 Sunshine Painting and Calligraphy Institute Joint Exhibition; Three-person exhibition of American-Arab International Art Center in 2005; Sunshine-Life Oil Painting Exhibition in 2006; In 2008 -2010, works were published in various professional books and periodicals; in 2015, works were published in the Library Art Album; in 2017, large-scale murals were created for the Coca-Cola Company; in 2019, three-person oil painting exhibition was held at the 798 Art Festival; in 2020-2021, he was further studied at the Comprehensive Materials Seminar of the Central Academy of Fine Arts.
