Samuel is his Catholic name.

He studied oil painting from his middle school until college, specializing in heavy texture abstract.

His paintings were introduced into the US market since1997 through New York Art Expo.

Hong’s work has been accepted into many private and group exhibitions in Korea, Hong Kong and Japan.
